Domain Names
A Domain Name is your business website’s online address. It is the textual version of an Internet Protocol or IP Address. An IP address is a set of numbers that point to your website. For example, an IP address would look something like this: 123.456.78.90 - every domain name in the World Wide Web corresponds to such a set of numbers. If not for domain names, every website on the internet would have to be recalled by such a number. This would have been more difficult than recalling telephone numbers! So, domain names were introduced to make navigation on the internet simple.
